Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp olive oil , divided
- 1 lb lean floor pork
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 3/four tsp dried thyme
- half of tsp dried marjoram
- Salt and freshly floor black pepper to taste
- 1 scant cup dry ditalini pasta
- 3 (eight ounces) cans tomato sauce
- 2 (14.Five oz.) cans low sodium bird broth or beef broth
- 1 half of cups chopped yellow onion
- 1 cup diced carrots (about 2 medium)
- 1 cup diced celery (about 3 stalks)
- three cloves garlic , minced (1 Tbsp)
- half cup water , then greater as preferred
- 1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes
- 2 tsp granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1 (15 oz.) can dark crimson kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (15 ounces) can exceptional northern beans, tired and rinsed
- Finely shredded Romano or Parmesan cheese , for serving
- three Tbsp minced clean parsley
Instructions
- Heat 1 Tbsp olive oil in a huge pot over medium excessive heat, crumble in floor red meat or sausage and cook dinner, stirring sometimes till cooked thru.

- Meanwhile put together ditalani pasta in keeping with directions on bundle, cooking to al dente.
- Add cooked and drained pasta to soup* at the side of kidney beans and remarkable northern beans. Thin with a little more broth or water if desired.
- Allow to cook dinner 1 minute longer. Stir in parsley, serve heat with grated Romano or Parmesan cheese.
- *If you do not plan on consuming all of the soup proper away I suggest adding the pasta to person servings. Otherwise pasta gets soggy and absorbs an excessive amount of broth.
